Linda has a B.S. in Nutrition and had been an education teacher and writer for over 20 years when her mother and sister were both diagnosed with breast cancer 6 months apart. She started researching prevention techniques to protect herself and giving workshops in the Mid-West and was amazed at the passion women had about sharing these same ideas. After presenting a workshop to ten women, where three of them asked how to start their own business, Linda realized that she had a valid business concept and in 2008, B.R.A.S. was founded. Breast Research Awareness & Support provides thermography, computer nutrition consultations, supplements, BioMat detoxification, and a wide variety of support. This unique business continues to expand and grow with ten different BRAS business systems around the U.S. Buying a BRAS business plan, “is like receiving a B.S. in breast health,” according to one owner. Now a business entrepreneur, Linda has also completed a doctorate in naturopathy and is pursuing board certification. She has used the MSAS for the last 15 years in her nutrition practice; it is the perfect fit for breast health information.
